It is favorable to find friends in the southwest, but one is likely to lose friends in the northeast. Peaceful [serene] perseverance will bring good fortune. Do not take the initiative but follow the initiative of another.

Symbol Tradition: The thick Earth is peaceful and submissive [receptive]. The superior man supports [helps sustain] all things with his generous virtue.

Confucius: The oracle for the hexagram is great success. It is favorable and proper to be perseverant and submissive. Generally speaking, peaceful perseverance will bring good fortune.

Because you were born in a Yang year:

Be prudent and not hasty in taking action,
Do not act wildly in going through the difficulties ahead.
If you seek profit in the southeast,
Be aware that it is difficult to succeed in the northwest.

Six at the top line: Dragons fight in the wilderness; their blood runs black and yellow.

This line indicates the disaster of an overabundance of yin.

For an individual of great virtue and merit, the individual may be a field marshal or a general who proves himself at the front, or he is in a very high position and overrides his power without fear, or he is in dangerous situation and wields his power and indulges himself in pleasure.

For just an ordinary individual, the individual is cruel and evil, conceited and disrespectful. He is fond of greatness and success, but fickle and inconsistent. He may even be a soldier and suffers hardships, but officials and soldiers will suffer more under his leadership, or suffer unnecessary injuries and wounds. Or he may be fond of lawsuits and suffer punishments.

In such a year, an official is reproached and demoted, a scholar has a hard struggle in the literary arena. Although he receives high promotion, he cannot avoid injury and loss. A commoner will have fights, dangers, ruin, and death.

The mirror and the hairpin are broken;
The moon is waning and flowers are fading.
If one comes but does not go,
Everything will go smoothly.

The second:

In the battle between the firm and the yielding both are wounded,
And black and yellow blood run together on the ground.
The dragon and horse will surfer regret and blame.
And ultimately coming to complete destruction.

The third:

It is an empty name with no real effect,
And he will meet delays and hindrances in his endeavors.
Disease and lawsuits cause punishment and death,
Or it is still unfavorable to take any action.

Weather: The image indicates there will be sunny days after enough rain. That will occur on the Chinese calendar day of chen or si .

Seeking an official post: It is better for the consulter to seek other things. The man with in his name or as his surname can help him succeed.

Tomb siting: There are dead trees in front, and a gate and road at the back. There are no houses around, but people once lived there.

Calling on a noble man: Able to see him.

House: It is near the god’s temple, and there are fields at the side, and a fence is in front. This is a quiet and peaceful living place.

Looking for a person: It is difficult to find.

Seeking wealth: It is better to be slow than to be hasty. It is not fit for soldiers to seek wealth.

Marriage: Someone opposes the match. It is better to wait for some time, and then it will succeed in the end. The man commits a serious crime. The soldier with the surname ["lian"'] or the man with ["kou" - mouth] in his name get involved. They can get along.

Pregnancy: It is a son with good prospects. The embryo has not moved. The delivery comes after the Chinese calendar day of shen . If the sixth line of the hexagram is reversed, the embryo leaves the right position.

Traveler: He has made some mistakes on the official errand. Something about him can be heard if a divination is cast on the Chinese day of mao or xu .

Expecting a thing: It has a beginning but no ending.

Lost things: The creature is in the temple or at the heap in the kiln. The object is at a shrine in the house or has not yet appeared.

Arresting a criminal: He hides in a house located at the foot of mountain in the northwest, there are signs of collapse around. He can be seen in the month or on the Chinese day of shen or you .

Illness: He went to an ancient tomb at the foot of the mountain in the southeast, the kitchen god, the cross or the forked road in the southeast, and offended the three saints.
